Open Knowledge Conference

I’ve been spending a lot of time reading about / researching the Open Knowledge and Open Data movement for a while now. I’m particularly interested (as I indicated in my PARC MOOC post and July 2 meeting presentation) in the ways that research becomes something possible for anyone to do in ways that legitimate their knowledge and enable advocacy on important issues. I wanted to share this recent conference with you as the videos have been enlightening. For folks who haven’t encountered these movements, I actually think a few of these videos can build up a quick inductive sense of what’s going on.
